THE STRIP
Opened in 1999, Paris Las Vegas’ casino is big, bright, and themed as if you’re outdoors walking under the 1/2-scale Eiffel Tower. Le Central is good for a people watching, a Bloody Mary, and hopefully—a stir stick (if they still have them). Mon Ami Gabi has even better Bloody Marys and the best people watching right on The Strip (we’ve seen a fat Elvis on a Rascal grope women as they walk by).
The carpets range in style from impressionist-inpired and modern fleur-de-lis in the casino; to Art Nouveau, Baroque, and Rococo-influenced in the hotel and convention center (which has been the same design since the opening in 1999).
