Remember when the ‘Y’ fell off the sign and it just said “BALL ’S”? Yeah. That was one of the most exciting things to happen at Bally’s in a while. But we did get a pretty good payout from one of the Megabucks machines in the high limit lounge. It’s also definitely haunted: we explored the ballrooms on the top floor, and the chandeliers were shaking the whole time.

The casino carpet is corporate and boring, and the high limit area is a total mismatch in style, and looks like it would be more at home in Paris. The convention center carpeting is a pretty fun mix of crazy geometry and colour. The hotel uses a heavier red palette and the floral flourishes of the ballrooms are completely unrelated to anything else.

In 2023, Bally's was rebranded as Horseshoe Las Vegas.
