THE
LINQ

back arrowTHE STRIP

OPENED 2014

Originally opened in 1959 as the Flamingo Capri, then rebranded as Imperial Palace (1979–2012), then as the short-lived The Quad (2012–2014), and finally, The Linq (incorprating a much smaller O'Shea's). The basement-level pet-friendly room we stayed in on Halloween during its Imperial Palace days, was quite possibly one of the most disgusting hotel rooms ever.

Pre-2023, The Linq’s carpeting was a blend of rather boring—and sometimes, ugly—geometric styling left over from The Quad, and newer, more colourful, and more organic agate-like designs. Similar layered designs can be found at Aria and Red Rock.

The latest generation's design is a grey-blue-green geometric web with a motion blur effect, and it has been installed in all casino locations, replacing all previous designs (even in O'Shea's!).
