The Golden Nugget is one of the nicer casino hotels on Fremont Street. One of its unique features (aside from the Hand of Faith golden nugget), is the shark tank in the center of the pool—which also includes a water slide through the tank. The carpeting designs are a mix geometic and abstract patterns in golds, browns, and reds.

The hotel room we staying in was very nice—one of the premier California King rooms in the Gold Tower. We also had an extensive conversation about Luxardo cherries with the bartender at Bar 46 (which got a serious downgrade in its nearby carpeting).
