Gaming Floor October 2016
LOCAL
When it was built in 2005 it could have been considered the “southern point” of The Strip—but even that is a stretch (M Resort is even further south, now). This local casino has some unique features like the Equestrian Center, and they also sponsor NASCAR’s South Point 400 race at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The casino carpeting is a pretty generic clip art copy/paste collage, with one basic ornament rendered in three treatments.
The new casino floor carpet design is an improvement: it kept the same aesthetic as the last generation, but the styling is greatly improved with a bolder, simplified version of the original illustration. The rest of the carpeting throughout the property is similarly on-brand: a lot of red and gold ornaments that compliment the other areas well.
