Rio is going through a much-deserved renaissance now that Dreamscape has taken over from Caesars. The new casino floor carpeting is a wonderfully fun, colourful, and perfectly-themed update. Combining Brazilian animals, and prominently featuring similar colours to the Brazilian flag—it's perfectly over-the-top and very Vegas.

The previous generation carpet was remarkable at the time of design for its large repeat size and extensive use of colour. The Masquerade tower's hotel hallways and rooms featured extensive variations on the theme of bright, organic mandelas set against a dard brown background. Some floors still have an even older generations design.

The oldest carpet on this site (personally taken) is the Masquerade Village casino from 2008. Rio used to have a sky show where people threw beads as they rode parade floats suspended from the ceiling.
